Frequently Asked Questions
Who is Tweet Hunter for?
Tweet Hunter is for anybody who's serious about growing an engaged audience to drive sign-ups, subscriptions and sales.
It's the all-in-one tool for people who want to transform their Twitter account into a true acquisition channel.
With Tweet Hunter, you can create better content faster and save time to focus on other key aspects of your business.
However, it's not for you if you're on Twitter just to consume content and have no use to grow and maintain a following.
How does the AI work?
Our AI engine uses the latest available technology in text recognition and text generation.
We use it for a variety of features such as generating tweets for you based on what you usually tweet about, giving you thread ideas and helping you start out your threads with a great hook.
We also put it to use to analyze over 1M+ viral tweets and find the ones that match best with your account and what you usually tweet about.
How are you different from other Twitter tools?
Most Twitter tools are focused solely on scheduling and automation.
That's all great, but we believe they forget a key aspect to succeed on Twitter: you need to create great content.
With that in mind, we created Tweet Hunter to be the first and most powerful tool for you to get content ideas. Since launch, we have added many features such as tweet and thread scheduling, key automations and an engagement module.
Rest assured, this is just the beginning.
What's the Staff Picks collection and how did you build it?
The Staff Picks consists of over 3,000 best-in-class tweets available on a variety of categories. We built this collection with the help of professional copywriters and ghostwriters.
These kinds of databases are usually sold for anywhere between $50 and $200 a pop, but we decided all our users should have unlimited access to it. So there you go.
Are you encouraging people to copy other people's tweets?
No.
We see tweeting just like any other skill: one where you learn and take inspiration from what people have done in the past. Artists do it. Writers do it. So do athletes, scientists, actors, politicians and just about everyone else.
And being exposed to the best content available helps your brain come up with ideas of its own.
So we built it, and we definitely don't recommend you just copy/paste tweets that you find.
Though this may work for a short amount of time as long as your follower count is low, we don't think this is the right approach to Twitter. You're bound to get flagged by someone and it could blow up in your face.
It worth noting we automatically include a "Inspired by @OriginalAuthor" in every copy/paste you'll do. You can delete it, but we suggest you don't because tagging the original author makes it more likely for you to get a like or retweet from that person.
How does the "Engage" feature work?
There are 2 main strategies for growing organically on Twitter:
1. Write good content regularly. We already covered that.
2. Engage with other people's tweets so you get noticed.
When you do that on Twitter, you're wasting an enormous amount of your time just sorting through your feed and trying to find the 1-5% of tweets that are actually relevant.
In Tweet Hunter, the "Engage" feature helps you build Twitter Lists that are actually effective for engaging. We help you find the right people to add, and then show you a feed of their tweets to which you can answer directly from the app. And we take away anything that's usually a waste of time like RTs or replies.
What's the weekly account analysis email?
Every week, we send you an email containing an analysis of your Twitter account, including your best performing topics, the times at which your followers are most active, as well as inspirations based on your content like thread ideas and viral tweets to recycle.
Who is behind TweetHunter?
We are Thibault and Thomas. 2 makers passionate about helping other makers grow their audience and better distribute their projects. We are also the founders of Pony Express, a startup studio specializing in growth problems faced by creators and makers.
We actually met through Twitter which helped us realize how valuable this social network is for people who build stuff. This is how the Tweet Hunter idea was born.
It's worth noting we are not affiliated with Twitter in any way, just in case you were wondering about that.
We were recently joined by JK Molina, one of Twitter's top ghostwriters and copywriters. He's helped us improve the product and talk about it the way we wanted to.
